When the time comes to start a scrapbook, one thing you need to consider first is what you want the theme to be. The theme you choose dictates almost everything about your scrapbooking, including the content, photos and calligraphy you use.
The theme of your scrapbook can be simple or complex. Your theme could be a special event such as a birthday, a baby shower, a wedding, Christmas, or Halloween. Themes can also be personalized to the scrapbook recipient’s special interests. Special interest themes include favorite colors, sports, favorite television programs, music, the outdoors, or cultural influences.

The sizzix machine has a lever and a sliding cutting mat. You place a piece of card with the die face down onto the cutting mat underneath the pressure point then simply pull down the lever and you will have the perfect die cut.

I don’t know about you but I’m an old fashioned girl. I like to be able to touch my scrapbook pages in printed form. Looking at them on the PC screen just doesn’t do it for me. I’m sorry, until they’re printed out they’re just not real.
But I don’t want to go to the trouble and expense of taking my 12×12 inch layout files to a professional printer to get it done. I want instant gratification.
However, as is the case with most of you I expect, I only have a regular A4 or Letter width printer.

Preserving the good times and letting go of painful memories is the most obvious action for any human being. While memories occupy a space of their own in our hearts and minds, there are many ways in which we can enhance the process of remembrance. Clicking photographs of loved ones and joyous events and even making video films of the good times are some of the most popular methods for preserving and reliving the good old times. A family album is therefore the most cherished possession of many people and it is sure to bring a smile to your face whenever you review the album. On a similar line of thought, a scrapbook is created to preserve the photographs and events in a colorful and memorable manner. Scrapbooking as an activity has always been popular among both children and adults.

June is finally here! Where did the past months go? Now that it is beginning to get hot outside (for most of us), I have spent a lot of time outdoors. Not only that, but I have spent a lot of time out shopping. And you know what I have discovered, no matter where I go in town, I can usually get a better deal online - not to mention, saving money on gas! I just recently ordered a new custom sofa online and saved hundreds of dollars (even with shipping costs). And I have finally gotten my stuff moved into my new scrapbooking office and wanted to get some new vertical storage. And guess where I found the cheapest ones - online! (I chose the Cropper Hopper Vertical Paper Holders).

With the fast popularity of memory scrapbook scrapbooking increasing daily, more resources are available to an amateur and professional scrapbooking hobbyist alike. Memory scrapbook scrapbooking doesn’t have to be too much of a challenge for anyone who wants to attempt the craft. Lignin-free and acid-free products are encouraged to keep the pictures from becoming discolored, or even turning brown. Digital scrapbook is still basically in its infancy, but certainly shows great promise as the medium of the future in memory scrapbook.
